Job summary

Arthrex GmbH, based in Naples, Florida, seeks an Associate Litigation and Risk Management Counsel to join its Legal team. The role focuses on protecting the organization's legal interests and managing litigation, regulatory matters, and internal investigations.

The ideal candidate has 5 years of litigation experience, is admitted to a state bar, and understands medical device industry regulatory requirements. Travel up to 10% may be required, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and timely advice.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited law school.
• 5 years’ experience required as an attorney in litigation.
• Must be admitted into and in good standing with a state bar.
• Experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for all litigation and claims management needs of the department.
• Assist with the defense of litigation, product liability issues, insurance correspondence, regulatory matters, and internal investigations.
• Assist with document review, e-discovery and case management, as needed.
• Provide timely advice and counsel to senior management on laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Represent the department with outside counsel for depositions, witness prep, and interviews.
• Review marketing and advertising materials for regulatory compliance.
