Kaufman & Canoles is seeking a full-time Litigation Paralegal for our Virginia Beach office. The role supports civil litigation matters, manages case files, drafts pleadings and motions, and coordinates with clients and court personnel.

Strong writing and meticulous organization are essential to succeed in this position. The ideal candidate will have three+ years of civil litigation experience, an associate degree or paralegal certificate, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe, PACER/ECF,

Formación

• Three or more years of civil litigation experience.
• Associate degree or paralegal certificate preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel), Adobe and Nuance.

Responsabilidades

• Draft pleadings, motions and discovery and other legal documents.
• Organize and manage case files and electronic documents.
• Prepare trial notebooks and deposition summaries.
• Review discovery documents for responsiveness and privilege.
• Assist with court filings, service of process and summonses.
• Communicate with clients and court personnel and provide status updates to attorneys.
• Maintain accurate daily billable hour records and manage docket deadlines.
