Job summary

Synectics Inc. seeks an experienced Civil Litigation/Personal Injury Paralegal to support attorneys in a collaborative environment. You will handle case intake through resolution, organize pleadings, discovery, and trial materials, and assist with hearings, depositions, and mediations.

The role requires strong litigation knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent client service. Proficiency in MS Office and legal software is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a paralegal or legal assistant supporting civil litigation and/or personal injury matters.
• Strong understanding of litigation procedures, discovery, pleadings, court filings, and case preparation.
• Strong legal research, writing, organizational, document management, and attention to detail skills.
• Excellent communication and client service skills with the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive paralegal support throughout civil litigation and personal injury matters, from case intake through resolution.
• Prepare and organize pleadings, discovery requests and responses, correspondence, court filings, medical records, exhibits, and trial materials.
• Assist with discovery, document collection and review, case preparation, legal and factual research, and preparation for hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial.
• Maintain case files, calendars, deadlines, and litigation documents while communicating professionally with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other parties.
• Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff, manage multiple matters efficiently, and maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and high professional standards.
