Synectics is seeking an Associate Attorney with 2+ years of litigation experience to handle personal injury, civil litigation, and criminal law matters. The role involves managing an independent caseload from intake to resolution, drafting pleadings and discovery, and appearing at hearings and depositions in a collaborative environment.

Strong research and writing skills, and Westlaw proficiency, are essential.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school with active state bar in good standing.
• 2+ years of litigation experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of personal injury, civil litigation, and/or criminal law.
• Excellent legal research and writing skills using Westlaw or similar platforms.
• Trial, deposition, and discovery experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and written discovery.
• Manage an independent caseload from intake through resolution with supervision.
• Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and other court appearances.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and internal staff.
• Assist with trial preparation, trial proceedings, discovery, and overall case management.
