Job summary

Synectics Inc. is seeking a Civil Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys with complex mass tort and civil litigation matters from intake through trial. Responsibilities include case prep, pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, legal research, medical record review, and trial support.

The role requires 3+ years of civil litigation paralegal experience, mass tort exposure, and a strong grasp of civil procedure. Hybrid work arrangement offered with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred.
• 3+ years of civil litigation paralegal experience.
• Mass tort experience required.
• Strong understanding of civil procedure and litigation processes.
• Experience with legal research, discovery, pleadings, and trial preparation.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks independently.
• Proficiency with case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage case preparation from pre-litigation through trial.
• Draft and organize pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, and trial documents.
• Coordinate case timelines, deadlines, calendaring, and filings.
• Conduct legal research and summarize medical records and case-related documents.
• Maintain accurate physical and digital case files.
• Coordinate communication with clients, attorneys, medical providers, and court personnel.
• Assist with deposition and trial preparation, exhibits, trial binders, and logistics.
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate case documentation.
• Perform additional litigation support duties as needed.
