Lewis & Llewellyn LLP in San Francisco seeks an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support complex civil litigation and arbitration matters from pre-suit through trial. The role emphasizes trial prep, case management, and collaboration across time zones with travel to SF courts and sites.

The position is hybrid with SF office work and remote options, subject to firm approval and locality constraints. Travel and flexible hours may be required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of substantive litigation-paralegal experience, preferably in complex commercial litigation.
• Proven in-person trial support with pretrial prep, witness coordination, deposition designations, and courtroom assistance.
• Strong calendaring and deadline-tracking abilities; experience with state and federal filing practices."
• Hands-on eDiscovery across the EDRM lifecycle: collection, review, privilege, redaction, production.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person trial and arbitration support, including courtroom and war-room assistance; travel and odd hours as case demands.
• Prepare for and support trials, hearings, arbitrations, and mediations; coordinate witnesses and exhibits.
• Manage case workflows, timelines, deliverables, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
• Assist with filings across California state, federal, appellate, and arbitral forums; ensure procedural compliance.
• Maintain accurate case calendars and collaborate with eDiscovery specialists.
• Support depositions with scheduling, notices, transcripts, and in-person help.
• Draft, edit, cite-check, and finalize pleadings, discovery requests, and related materials.
