Job summary

Keystone Distinction Group is seeking a Paralegal to bolster our Hartford litigation team. You will support general and professional liability matters, manage case files, perform research, and liaise with clients, courts, vendors, and outside counsel.

Ideal candidates will have 1–3 years of litigation experience, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and document management systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1–3 years of litigation support experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, discovery, subpoenas, and case management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and PDF software.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys through all phases of general liability and professional liability litigation.
• Manage and maintain litigation case files with organized, accurate materials.
• Assist with litigation matters in state and federal courts.
• Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorney review.
• Communicate with clients, courts, vendors, and outside counsel on case status.
• Maintain and monitor litigation calendars, including court dates and deadlines.
• Organize and manage electronic document management systems and case databases.
• Assist with discovery processes, including drafting requests and responses.
• Support motion practice and trial preparation, including exhibits and witness materials.
• Coordinate with teams to ensure timely case updates and accuracy.
