Job summary

The Law Offices of Samer Habbas & Associates, PC in Stockton, CA is seeking a dedicated Litigation Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have completed an accredited paralegal program (or an Associate's degree) and at least 2 years of paralegal experience, focusing on pleadings, discovery, and trial preparation.

This full-time, on-site role requires bilingual English and Spanish, strong drafting and organizational skills, calendar management, and the ability to support multiple

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited Paralegal program or Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in Personal Injury or Employment litigation
• Knowledge of California CCP and Rules of Court
• Exceptional writing and analytical capabilities
• Knowledge of calendaring requirements
• Ability to manage a midsize caseload of litigation files
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required

Responsibilities

• Prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and subpoenas
• Manage the discovery process and coordinate with clients
• File legal documents with the court and ensure deadlines are met
• Maintain professional communication with court personnel and opposing counsel
• Organize and maintain case files
• Assist in gathering and organizing evidence and case materials
