Job summary

Lewis Brisbois in Walnut Creek, CA seeks a paralegal with litigation experience to support a minimum of four attorneys. Primary duties include calendaring, document management, and preparing discovery materials, pleadings, motions, and depositions for trial readiness.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate, plus at least three years of litigation experience and strong Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate.
• At least three (3) years of litigation work experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong Excel skills required.
• Strong organizational, written & verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities.
• Ability to work flexible and/or fluctuating work hours.
• Annual billable requirement of 1,600 hours.

Responsibilities

• Calendaring and document management for litigation matters.
• Assist with discovery responses, interrogatories, pleadings, motions, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Collaborate with a team of at least four attorneys to support casework.
