Job summary

The Law Offices of Samer Habbas & Associates, PC is seeking a dedicated Litigation Paralegal to join our Stockton, CA team. The ideal candidate will have completed an accredited paralegal program and a minimum of 2 years of experience, assisting attorneys with pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial preparation.

This is a full-time, on-site role in Stockton, CA. Responsibilities include drafting legal documents, managing discovery, filing with courts, keeping case files organized, and

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited Paralegal program or Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies.
• 2+ years of Paralegal experience, preferably in Personal Injury or Employment litigation.
• Knowledge of California Civil Procedure Code and California Rules of Court.
• Exceptional writing and analytical capabilities.
• Knowledge of calendaring requirements.
• Ability to manage a midsize caseload of litigation files.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and subpoenas, and prepare case documents.
• Manage discovery: prepare responses, organize documents, coordinate with clients.
• File court documents, ensure compliance with court rules and deadlines (electronic and physical).
• Maintain professional communication with court personnel and opposing counsel.
• Organize and maintain case files and evidence.
• Coordinate with clients and attorneys to update on case status.
• Track litigation dates, deadlines, and manage case calendars.
• Provide general administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling and coordinating with experts.
