Job summary

DBL Law in Louisville, Kentucky seeks an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support a supervising attorney and boost efficiency. You will prepare client work, manage discovery, and organize files across state and federal courts in Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio.

Responsibilities include trial support, time tracking, information management, and maintaining confidentiality. Strong research, communication, and organizational skills are essential in this fast-paced firm.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certification or degree or equivalent legal support experience.
• Strong research, analytical and written communication skills.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple matters with confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in preparation of client work including closings, hearings and trials; assist with discovery/investigating facts, researching and other miscellaneous duties.
• Effectively prioritize work; monitor deadlines.
• File and retrieve court documents electronically for State and Federal Court in Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky.
• File and retrieve court documents for Bankruptcy courts.
• Track and bill your time.
• Information management and file organization.
• Assist attorneys in managing client contacts, emails, and hard copy documents.
• Assist with Trial Presentations as needed.
• Other duties as assigned; seek out additional work when completed.
