Job summary

AppleOne is seeking an experienced paralegal in Encino, CA to support insurance defense attorneys in a direct hire role. This litigation-focused position emphasizes strong case management, document preparation, and proactive communication within a professional team.

You will handle discovery through trial, assist with deposition preparation, and contribute to trial strategy and litigation support in a collaborative environment that values accuracy and dependable professionals.

Responsibilities

• Review, organize, analyze, and summarize claim files, reports, records, and other case materials.
• Prepare pleadings, subpoenas, discovery requests and responses, correspondence, interrogatories, post-judgment pleadings, abstracts, writs, levying documents, and appeals-related materials for attorney review.
• Assist with deposition preparation, pre-trial investigations, witness preparation, mediation, arbitration, and trial support.
• Prepare deposition binders, trial binders, exhibits, demonstrative evidence, and courtroom presentation materials.
• Maintain case files, manage litigation deadlines, support discovery workflows, and assist with legal research and case organization.
