Qualifications

• At least one year of litigation paralegal or project experience.
• Automated litigation support experience valued.
• Basic legal knowledge and experience with legal research tools like LEXIS and Westlaw.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Familiarity with computer applications (word processing, databases, spreadsheets, imaging).
• Knowledge of eDiscovery procedures and resources.
• Ability to deliver high-quality work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of Supervisory Paralegal or Project Supervisor.
• Compile, prepare, and summarize materials for use by attorneys.
• Summarize depositions and transcripts.
• Maintain case files and perform simple legal research.
• Index, track, and control document discovery.
• Assist attorneys in courtroom.
• Review documents for relevance and privilege.
• Compile documents for FOIA, production requests, etc.
