Qualifications

• Paralegal certificate or HS diploma with two years of related experience.
• Strong legal research and citation abilities.
• Excellent communication, organizational and team skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists attorney in reviewing case material, including digesting decisions and citations.
• Drafts, edits, and reviews non-legal information and research reports.
• Prepares for trial by organizing exhibits and creating statistical charts.
• Interviews witnesses and prepares summary interview reports.
• Reviews legal documents for citations and references.
• Attends pre-trial meetings and requests information to fix deficiencies.
• Prepares summaries of testimony and depositions after/during trial.
• Investigates facts and laws, researches public records, and prepares cases.
