Job summary

Jobot in Raleigh, NC is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our growing team. You’ll assist 2-3 attorneys, manage case files, and help prepare for depositions and trials.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in personal injury litigation, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Hybrid or in-office schedule offered with comprehensive benefits.

Residence within driving distance and willingness to travel for trials is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of personal injury litigation paralegal experience.
• Plaintiffs' litigation experience preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational and case-management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to think critically, investigate issues, and solve problems.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced litigation environment.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a client-focused mindset.
• Must reside within driving distance of Raleigh, NC.
• In-office during initial training period.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with managing personal injury litigation cases from investigation through trial.
• Gather and organize evidence and case documentation.
• Review medical records, legal documents, and other case materials.
• Communicate with clients regarding case developments.
• Coordinate with experts and other parties involved in litigation.
• Schedule and prepare for depositions and mediations.
• Assist with trial preparation and attend trials when needed.
• Maintain organized case files and litigation documentation.
• Identify potential issues and help attorneys move cases forward.
• Collaborate with attorneys, legal assistants, and team members.
