Job summary

LHH partners with a boutique law firm to identify a Litigation Paralegal supporting a sophisticated commercial litigation practice in the Raleigh-Durham area. You will assist attorneys handling federal and state matters and own critical case files.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of paralegal experience, strong drafting, e-discovery, and calendar management skills, with a proactive, deadline-driven approach. Hybrid schedule and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of litigation paralegal experience in federal/state matters.
• Experience with electronic filing in federal courts.
• Familiarity with North Carolina state court procedures preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; detail-oriented.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file pleadings, motions, briefs, and exhibits in federal and state courts.
• Manage case files from inception through resolution with organized records.
• Maintain case calendars and deadlines; identify conflicts.
• Draft routine litigation documents and assist with cite-checking and Bluebooking.
• Coordinate written discovery and privilege logs.
• Manage e-discovery workflows with vendors (Relativity, DISCO).
• Prepare deposition materials, expert files, and exhibits.
• Assist with trial preparation and logistics.
• Support trademark-related matters including docket maintenance and USPTO filings.
• Serve as point of contact for clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, vendors, and experts.
• Manage competing deadlines in a high-volume environment.
