Job summary

Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP is seeking a Paralegal in the Litigation Department based in Wilmington, with a hybrid work arrangement. The role supports litigation attorneys and business services professionals across all phases of litigation, focusing on court filings, discovery, and trial prep, while maintaining client files and upholding Delaware and Federal rules.

Qualifications

• Fluent in navigating electronic databases and document management systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication with attorneys, clients and staff.
• Experience with Westlaw, LexisNexis, PACER, and similar court resources.
• Familiarity with firm software (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare court filings and assist with the discovery process.
• Support trial preparation tasks and manage document productions.
• Maintain client files in accordance with firm protocols.
• Coordinate with case teams to track deadlines and review materials.
• Assist with eDiscovery workflows and Relativity data management.
• Mentor junior paralegals on best practices and technology.
