Latitude is seeking an experienced litigation paralegal for a full-time remote engagement opportunity with a dynamic start-up boutique litigation defense firm. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience supporting litigation teams defending personal injury, product liability, medical malpractice, and commercial litigation cases. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, supporting litigation cases from start to finish.

Requirements for the Litigation Paralegal:

• 5+ years as a litigation paralegal with experience managing a high volume of cases from intake through trial, including legal research and drafting, discovery management, client communications, and trial preparation
• Significant experience supporting state and federal litigation in Florida is highly-preferred
• Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate
• Strong writing and oral communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to effectively interact with attorneys, staff and clients
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects to meet deadlines
• Strong working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, etc.
• Outstanding references

Position Details of the Litigation Paralegal:

• Type of Role: Contract Engagement (extended duration)
• Schedule: Full-time (30-40 hours/week)
• Location: Remote (Eastern Time Zone)

Compensation:
Pay: The annualized pay for this position ranges from $50,000 to $70,000 when calculated on a full-time basis.

Pay is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications and credentials.

All Latitude employees (including those on contract engagements) are also eligible for full benefits when working 20+ hours per week, including group medical, dental, and vision insurance, and complimentary group life, LTD and AD&D insurance.
