Job Title: Remote Legal Assistant – Texas Personal Injury Law (1099 Contract)

We’re actively hiring skilled Legal Assistants on a 1099 contractor basis to support our growing attorney client base. You will work fully remotely, providing administrative and litigation support in Texas personal injury cases.

This is a project-based, long-term contract role for experienced professionals who are confident managing legal workflows independently.

• Conduct new client legal intake and organize initial case data
• E-file and e-serve documents in Texas and federal courts
• Schedule depositions, mediations, hearings, and attorney meetings
• Maintain organized digital case files
• Support case managers and attorneys with backend task management
• Ensure timely, professional communication with clients
• 10+ years of legal assistant experience (personal injury law preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Texas court procedures and calendaring rules
• Excellent written, organizational, and time management skills
• Familiarity with legal practice management tools
• Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision
• Duration: Ongoing contract work (project-based per case)
• Pay: Hourly rate starts from $5- $30(commensurate with experience)
• Location: Remote – Must reside in the U.S.; Texas-based candidates preferred
