Job summary

Barnes Trial Group seeks a Litigation Paralegal with 3+ years of litigation experience to support attorneys from filing through trial. The role is on-site in Tampa, FL, with a fast-paced environment and strict deadlines.

You will handle communications with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff, and assist with discovery, depositions, and trial preparation. Strong organization, independence, and proficiency with Microsoft Office are required; experience with FileVine is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a paralegal in litigation.
• Experience in Personal Injury/ Plaintiff litigation preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with FileVine case management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support from complaint filing through trial under attorney supervision.
• Prepare and respond to discovery requests and pleadings.
• Manage scheduling of depositions, hearings, and related events.
• Draft and organize correspondence, motions, and trial materials.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff.
• Organize files, ensure accuracy, and assist in trial preparation.
