Bush Ross, P.A. in Tampa is seeking a skilled Litigation Paralegal to join our team of paralegals and legal assistants.

The role reports to shareholders and associates for work prioritization and conflict resolution, operating from our primary office location. Key duties include drafting legal documents, managing discovery, organizing files, and supporting trial preparation while maintaining precise time entry in our billing system.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent research and analytical skills.
• Self-starter, professional, and team player.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Relativity or e-discovery platform.
• Familiarity with electronic filings with governmental entities and document management systems.

Responsibilities

• Draft legal documents including briefs, pleadings, appeals, agreements, contracts, etc.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, judicial staff, vendors and courts.
• Compile information for discovery, pleadings, motions, and trial preparation.
• Perform initial drafts of discovery and create discovery logs.
• Organize, track, and maintain original documents and electronic files.
• File documents with courts or other government entities.
• Assist attorneys with document review and case development.
• Perform legal and factual research and records research.
• Organize and maintain paper and electronic client/matter files.
• Assist with trial preparation including witness lists, exhibits and trial binders.
• Accurate input of time into Time and Billing system.
