Job summary

Ascendion is seeking a Paralegal for a growing law firm that handles complex matters across multiple jurisdictions. The candidate should have 2+ years of experience and be proficient in discovery, medical summaries, updating adjusters, subpoenas, and legal research tools.

Responsibilities include managing 30 hours of weekly billables, handling up to 50 cases as you ramp up, performing due diligence, lien and UCC searches, and preparing federal, state, and local filings.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of paralegal experience.
• Experience with discovery, medical summaries, updating adjusters, subpoenas.
• Proficiency with legal research tools and data rooms.
• Ability to manage multiple complex transactions under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Weekly billables of 30 hours.
• Handle 50 cases at a time as you ramp up.
• Conduct due diligence research and perform lien and UCC searches.
• Prepare federal, state, and local regulatory filings (including Secretary of State filings and annual reports).
• Draft, review, and organize basic contracts, NDAs, closing certificates, and officer certificates.
