Job summary

JurisTalent in Jefferson City, MO is seeking a Personal Injury Paralegal to join a collaborative team handling complex litigation matters. The role emphasizes strong organization, ability to work under pressure, and handling confidential information.

The candidate will assist attorneys in litigating cases across Missouri and federal court, e-file, draft and edit documents, review records, and communicate with clients and court systems.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher preferred.
• 1+ year of legal experience preferred.
• Experience with litigation is preferred.
• Experience with medical records is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in litigating a variety of complex cases throughout Missouri and the federal system.
• E-file in state and federal court.
• Draft and edit legal documents.
• Obtain, review, and summarize records.
• Communicate with attorneys, clients, court systems, etc.
• Utilize legal software programs, such as Case Net, Lexis Nexis, and West Law Edge.
