Job summary

Responsibilities include organizing medical records, handling insurance related tasks, draft correspondence, prepare damage summaries, and maintain timely client communications.

The role requires 3-5 years of relevant experience and a Paralegal certificate, with an in-office schedule (Mon-Fri).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience is required.
• Paralegal certificate is required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Office-based, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Case management and file organization.
• Obtain, review, and organize medical records.
• Insurance coverage investigation.
• Prepare, calculate, and maintain damage summaries including medical expenses, lost wages, and property damage.
• Log daily mail and forward medical records to insurers.
• Draft correspondence for case management.
• Balance verifications and assist with subrogation lien resolution.
• Prepare check requests, maintain check records, and mail checks; assist attorney with settlement documentation and disbursements.
• Prepare disbursement summaries.
• Regular and clear communication with clients regarding case status.
• Prepare weekly reports and participate in monthly team meetings.
• Provide support for other team members in their absence.
• Meet and exceed goals; maintain punctual attendance.
