Job summary

Snell & Wilmer in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Paralegal Assistant to support Paralegals and Attorneys in the Litigation group. Responsibilities include organizing case files, assisting with discovery, trial preparation, and overall case management across all litigation phases. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.

to 5:00 p.m. in the office. A BA/BS and ABA-certified paralegal credential (or equivalent) are required along with strong attention to detail and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Education: Baccalaureate degree and paralegal certificate from an ABA-accredited program (or a combination of education and experience)
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter who can work independently with supervision and seek help when needed

Responsibilities

• Case & Document Management: Organize and maintain case files
• Litigation Support: Assist in discovery, trial preparation, and case management
• Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on legal documents for accuracy and compliance
• Legal Research & Analysis: Review case law, statutes, and precedents
• Client & Team Coordination: Maintain relationships with attorneys, paralegals, staff
• E-Discovery & Compliance: Support e-discovery efforts and procedural rules
