Job summary

Wilson Elser in San Diego is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support complex matters with a collaborative local team. This role targets experienced paralegals seeking substantive work, stability, and professional growth in a national firm.

Qualifications

• Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program or an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies required.
• 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience (insurance defense preferred).
• Law firm billing experience and understanding of billing practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple cases.
• Experience drafting subpoenas and tracking incoming records.
• Comfortable with legal research tools and case management software.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Prepare materials for expert witness review.
• Maintain well-organized, accessible case files.
• Prepare cases for and assist with trials.
