Job summary

Adams, Duerk & Kamenstein LLP in Los Angeles is seeking a senior Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys through all phases of complex matters, including discovery, document review, and trial preparation.

The role requires at least 7 years of litigation paralegal experience, strong drafting and formatting skills, familiarity with federal and California rules, and excellent communication and organizational abilities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of litigation paralegal experience in federal and California state court matters preferably involving civil, white-collar crime, or government investigations.
  • California Paralegal Certification Required (ABA, CPA, or equivalent).
  • Strong skills in legal document preparation, including drafting, formatting, and organizing litigation-related materials.
  • Experience with document review and management of discovery, including organizing, analyzing, and tracking case documents. Everlaw experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in legal research using online databases and other resources to support case strategy and filings.
  • Ability to prepare and assist with pleadings and motions, including assembly of exhibits, citations, and supporting documentation.
  • Familiarity with federal and state court rules, e-filing systems, and litigation procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and organization.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys and staff and to manage deadlines across multiple matters.
  • Proficiency with standard office software and litigation support tools; experience with iManage or similar document management platforms is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word formatting, page breaks, numbering, Table of Authorities, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Support attorneys in all phases of litigation from case organization to trial preparation.
  • Draft and format legal documents, tables of authority, and court filings.
  • Coordinate and review case materials, conduct factual and legal research, and maintain case calendars and deadlines.

Role Description The Litigation Paralegal is a full-time, on‑site role based in Los Angeles, CA. This role supports attorneys in all phases of litigation, including organizing case files, preparing and managing discovery responses and document productions, and assisting with trial preparation. Day‑to‑day tasks include drafting and formatting legal documents, tables of authority, court filings, coordinating and reviewing case materials, conducting factual and legal research, and maintaining case calendars and deadlines. The Litigation Paralegal will collaborate closely with attorneys and staff, communicate with courts and third parties as needed, and help ensure that filings and submissions are completed accurately and on time. The role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple matters in a fast‑paced environment.
