Job summary

Randstad USA in Lexington seeks a Litigation Paralegal to support a busy Torts and Insurance Practice Group. You will act as the right hand to attorneys, handling cases from intake through pre-trial, deposition prep, and trial delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and about 5 years of experience in litigation. Compensation ranges from $65,000 to $75,000 per year, with first shift hours 8 AM to 5 PM and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of paralegal experience in litigation.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience with tort, negligence, and trial preparation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage large cases, organize documents, and prepare deposition exhibits.
• Draft pleadings, contracts, and trial binders; file documents electronically.
• Schedule meetings, travel, and manage calendars for attorneys.
• Oversee monthly client-billing tasks for the practice group.

In this role, you will provide moderate-to-complex litigation support to a busy Torts and Insurance Practice Group. You will act as the right hand to a dedicated team of attorneys, managing cases seamlessly from initial intake through pre-trial, deposition preparation, and final trial delivery.

salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per year shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

• Litigation Case Management: Assist in managing large cases and projects. Handle extensive document organization, retrieval, and production. Digest deposition transcripts and prepare polished deposition and trial exhibits.


• Legal Drafting & Filings: Draft pleadings, contracts, correspondence, and trial binders. Manage the proper indexing and electronic filing of legal documents utilizing advanced litigation support software.


• Practice Management & Admin: Keep attorneys organized by managing complex calendars, scheduling meetings, coordinating travel arrangements, and preparing expense reports.


• Financial Administration: Oversee the monthly billing cycle and handle client accounting-related tasks for the practice group.


• Client & Court Liaison: Serve as a professional first point of contact, managing phone and email correspondence with clients, court staff, and opposing counsel.
