Lexitas Legal Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced litigation associate for a prominent national plaintiff’s law firm in Lexington, Kentucky. This role provides a growth opportunity in a busy trial-oriented firm focused on strong client advocacy.

The litigation associate will manage cases from filing to resolution, draft legal documents, and collaborate with senior attorneys. Candidates must have at least 2 years of personal injury practice experience and strong litigation skills.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in a personal injury practice.
• Experience participating in trials is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a docket of litigation matters from filing through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and legal memoranda.
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies.
• Take and defend depositions, including fact witnesses and experts.
• Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff.

The firm offers highly competitive compensation and benefits, starting at 100k+ and up depending on experience. This position is on-site in Lexington.

Key Responsibilities

• Take and defend depositions, including fact witnesses and experts
• Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials

Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years in a personal injury practice on either the plaintiff or defense side. Candidates must be able to demonstrate strong writing and research skills. Experience preparing for and participating in trials is strongly preferred.
