Job summary

KSP Law is seeking a Litigation Paralegal in Kenmore, WA with 2–4 years of civil litigation experience to support insurance defense matters. You will organize files, manage discovery, and assist attorneys from inception through trial in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

The role is full-time, in-office with potential for hybrid scheduling after onboarding; ABA-accredited paralegal certificate is required, and a related degree is preferred.

Qualifications

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced litigation paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage cases from inception through trial. This position offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of cases, including insurance defense, property damage, and general liability matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in all phases of insurance defense litigation, from initial investigation through trial and appeal.
• Organize and manage case files, including document review and production.
• Summarize medical records, deposition transcripts, and discovery responses.
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, experts, and insurance adjusters.
• Maintain litigation calendars, track deadlines, and ensure timely filings.
• Prepare exhibits, trial notebooks, and witness binders for hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Coordinate and assist with depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances.
• Conduct factual and legal research using available databases and resources.
• Assist in trial preparation, including jury instructions, witness scheduling, and courtroom logistics.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred; Paralegal certificate from an ABA-accredited program required.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of paralegal experience in litigation.

Skills

• Proficiency in Clio legal software or similar billing and case management tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe
• Strong understanding of court rules, filing procedures, and e-filing systems (state and federal).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

We’re currently seeking a Paralegal with 2–4 years of experience to join our team. Candidates with litigation experience are preferred. Our cases include standard motor vehicle accidents, commercial disputes, and the unique matter that keeps things interesting.

This is a full-time, in-office position to start, with the option to transition to a hybrid schedule once established.
