Job summary

Goody Law Group, LLP seeks a Senior Litigation Paralegal in Seattle with California and Washington experience for a hybrid, full-time role. You will support complex employment and personal injury matters across both states, assisting attorneys from intake through resolution and trial preparation.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years as a litigation paralegal, strong knowledge of state and federal filing procedures, and excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3-5 years hands-on experience as a Litigation Paralegal.
  • Knowledge of litigation procedures, deadlines, and court filings in CA/WA.
  • Experience managing active litigation files from intake to resolution.
  • Comfortable preparing pleadings, discovery, motions, and exhibits.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.

Senior Litigation Paralegal (WA/CA Experience / Hybrid)

Location: Seattle, Washington (Hybrid)

Position Type: Full-Time; Flexible Schedule; Hybrid (3/2)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced litigation paralegal based in the Greater Seattle Area, with litigation support experience in both California and Washington to serve as Senior Litigation Paralegal within the firm's Washington Plaintiff Employment Law Division.

The ideal candidate is well-versed in assisting with all aspects of employment and personal injury case handling from start to finish for matters filed in both California and Washington State.

Responsibilities
  • Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation from case intake through resolution and trial preparation
  • Assist with case management and maintain organized case files
  • Conduct case fact gathering and basic legal research tasks
  • Prepare, organize, and electronically file pleadings, motions, and other electronic documents
  • Manage and maintain litigation calendars and deadlines
  • Coordinate and schedule hearings, depositions, mediations, and meetings
  • Communicate with clients, courts, vendors, and opposing counsel as needed
  • Support trial preparation including exhibit organization and document compilation
  • Complete administrative and ad-hoc requests to support the litigation team, including assisting the firm's CA-based Personal Injury Division as needed
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Litigation Paralegal
  • Strong working knowledge of litigation procedures, deadlines, and court filings, including familiarity with state and federal electronic filing systems in both California and Washington State
  • Experience managing active litigation files from intake through resolution
  • Comfortable preparing and organizing pleadings, discovery, motions, exhibits, and other case documents
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and anticipate next steps
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and using legal case management systems
Preferred Qualifications
  • Located within commutable distance to the Greater Seattle Area (hybrid role, typically 3 days per week in office)
  • Experience working on employment cases
  • Trial preparation experience, including exhibit organization and trial binders
  • Proven ability to manage multiple active litigation files simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines
Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $115,000, plus bonus eligible depending on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated proficiency with both California and Washington litigation procedures.
