Job description

We are a personal injury firm. As advocates, we lead with compassion and humility from start to finish as we help those injured at no fault of their own recover time, money, and health. We are currently seeking a Civil Insurance Paralegal with experience in civil litigation defense and personal injury pre litigation, litigation, and negotiation to join our team. Significant Washington state experience required.

The role of the Paralegal handles every action of a personal injury case from start to finish. The job is to assist attorneys in a broad range of substantive case management legal work. The Litigation Paralegal works in a team environment and in a collaborative role. This a hybrid position with remote and "in-office" expectations in the Portland area.

• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
• Paralegal Certificate (preferred)
• Minimum of 8 years general litigation experience and previous trial experience
• A solid knowledge of Washington state court rules including procedures for filing
• Proficiency with case and document management, especially the discovery process
• Proven ability to gather, organize, and manage large amounts of data
• Strong written communication skills including strong command of grammar
• Able to self-direct and manage productivity
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Outstanding attention to detail
• Desire to serve people and work in a team

Role responsibilities include all actions around the following:

Pay:

$65K-$85K/yr Depending on experience. Comprehensive benefits package available including medical, dental and PTO.
