Vernis & Bowling in Jacksonville seeks an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our civil litigation defense team. The right candidate will have 2+ years of civil litigation defense experience, with training available for the right fit.

You will draft pleadings, assist with trial preparation and discovery, summarize records, research statutes, coordinate court reporters and witnesses, and manage attorney calendars.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Florida state and federal court rules and e-filing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong organization, writing, and deadline management.

Responsabilités

• Assist with trial preparation and discovery, including organizing exhibits and responding to subpoenas, discovery requests, and interrogatories.

• Serve as liaison between attorneys, clients, experts, witnesses, and third parties.
• Manage attorney calendars, including conferences, hearings, and depositions.
