Job summary

Software Placement Group (SPG) in Dallas, TX seeks an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support multiple attorneys within its litigation group. The role focuses on commercial and financial services matters, offering a collaborative environment that values growth and work-life balance.

You will manage case files end-to-end, conduct factual investigations, assist with discovery and ESI production, coordinate depositions, draft pleadings, and support trial preparation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4 years experience working with complex litigation required.
• Experience with commercial litigation/business litigation required.
• Strong computer literacy, including MS Office and document management systems.
• Excellent organizational skills, time management, and sharp proofreading ability.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Support multiple attorneys in active commercial and financial services litigation.
• Manage case files from inception to resolution, keeping them organized and trial-ready.
• Conduct factual investigations and interviews to identify key parties, issues, and relevant documents for discovery.
• Assist in responding to interrogatories and requests for production, including ESI production.
• Coordinate depositions and assist with summarizing depositions, medical records, and testimony using litigation support technology.
• Draft pleadings and filings for federal and state civil litigation, including e-filing.
• Support trial prep — exhibits, demonstrative aids, witness coordination — and assist at trial.
• Verify case citations for accuracy and current validity through Westlaw.
• Maintain attorney calendars and case deadlines.
• Interact directly with clients, court personnel, and government officials.
