The team specializes in commercial litigation and financial services litigation matters, including breach of contract, business disputes, and banking/securities-related litigation. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative team that values professional growth, work-life balance, and long-term career development, backed by competitive compensation, strong benefits, and a culture built on mutual respect between attorneys and support staff.

What You'll Do
  • Support multiple attorneys across active commercial and financial services litigation matters
  • Manage case files from inception through resolution, keeping everything organized and trial-ready
  • Conduct factual investigations and interviews to identify key parties, issues, and relevant documents for discovery
  • Assist in preparing responses to interrogatories and requests for production, including ESI production
  • Coordinate depositions and assist with summarizing depositions, medical records, and testimony using litigation support technology (e.g., Relativity, Concordance, or similar platforms)
  • Draft pleadings and filings for federal and state civil litigation, including e-filing in both state and federal court systems
  • Support trial preparation, including exhibits, trial notebooks, demonstrative aids, and witness coordination, and assist at trial
  • Verify case citations for accuracy and current validity through Westlaw
  • Maintain attorney calendars, case deadlines, and billing/case management records
  • Interact directly with clients, court personnel, and government officials
What You Bring
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED required; 4-year college degree in paralegal studies or paralegal certificate preferred
  • 4+ years of experience with complex litigation required, specifically commercial litigation or business litigation
  • Experience with case management, billing, e-filing, and calendaring in a law firm setting
  • Trial prep experience strongly preferred
  • Strong computer literacy, including MS Office and document management systems
  • Experience with litigation support software and electronic discovery tools preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills, time management, and sharp proofreading ability
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
  • Demonstrated career stability strongly preferred
Experience Level

Our client is open to candidates at different stages of their career, both experienced paralegals who can step in with minimal ramp-up, and less experienced candidates who are highly motivated, coachable, and eager to grow. What matters most is adaptability, organization, and willingness to learn; not every skill needs to be in place on day one.

Ideal Candidate

Someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Success in this role comes down to initiative, strong communication, and a positive, collaborative mindset, along with a high level of professionalism.

What Sets This Role Apart
  • Competitive salary, commensurate with experience
  • Supportive, team-oriented culture with genuine investment in staff development
  • High-caliber litigation work across federal and state courts
  • Stability and reputation of an established, respected firm
