Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of litigation paralegal experience.
• Experience in defense law firm strongly preferred.
• Background in Medical Malpractice, Insurance Defense, Workers’ Compensation, or similar.
• Experience preparing motions, pleadings, discovery, and trial materials.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Draft and prepare motions, pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents
• Assist with preparation and responses to discovery requests
• Organize and summarize medical records, case files, and other litigation materials
• Coordinate depositions, hearings, mediations, and court deadlines
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including exhibits and trial binders
• Maintain case files and monitor important deadlines
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, experts, and other parties
• Provide general litigation support from case opening through trial
