TalentBridge is partnering with a well-established national litigation law firm to hire an experienced Litigation Paralegal for its Chicago office. The role supports attorneys through every phase of civil litigation in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of paralegal experience in litigation, excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and litigation management software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary liaison between attorneys, clients, courts, opposing counsel, and third parties.
• Organize, maintain, and manage litigation case files and supporting documentation.
• Draft and prepare pleadings, subpoenas, discovery requests and responses, and related filings.
• Coordinate all phases of discovery, including document collection, review, organization, and production.
• Assist attorneys with deposition preparation and trial materials.
• Maintain litigation calendars and monitor court deadlines to ensure timely filings.
• Support attorneys throughout all phases of litigation from case inception through trial.

We are partnering with a well-established national litigation law firm seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its Chicago office. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience supporting complex civil litigation matters, managing case files, coordinating discovery, and preparing cases for trial. Candidates with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities will be successful in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary liaison between attorneys, clients, courts, opposing counsel, and third parties.
• Organize, maintain, and manage litigation case files and supporting documentation.
• Draft and prepare legal documents including pleadings, subpoenas, discovery requests and responses, correspondence, interrogatories, and related filings.
• Conduct legal and case-specific research to support litigation matters.
• Coordinate all phases of discovery, including document collection, review, organization, and production.
• Assist attorneys with deposition preparation, witness coordination, and pre-trial case development.
• Prepare trial materials including exhibits, witness binders, demonstrative evidence, and hearing notebooks.
• Schedule and coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, court appearances, and client meetings.
• Maintain litigation calendars and monitor court deadlines to ensure timely filings.
• Support attorneys throughout all phases of litigation from case inception through trial.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred.
• 6+ years of litigation paralegal experience required.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal court procedures, filings, and litigation processes.
• Experience managing complex litigation matters from discovery through trial.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document/case management software.
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.Ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines.
• Experience supporting insurance litigation or complex civil litigation is a plus.
