Job summary

Vuori, Inc, based in Carlsbad, CA, is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our in-house legal team. This role supports all litigation matters, collaborating with the CLO, Senior Counsel, and outside counsel on complex disputes and regulatory matters.

You will manage holds, case files, discovery, and budgeting while coordinating with risk management. The position emphasizes delivering efficient, compliant legal services and scalable processes.

Qualifications

  • Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years litigation paralegal experience in a corporate setting.
  • Notary license preferred.
  • Proficiency in Relativity, Concordance, Adobe, and MS Office.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state court procedures and discovery rules.
  • Experience in retail, consumer products, or apparel litigation.
  • Background in employment law, IP, or commercial disputes.
  • Project management certification or experience.
  • Interest in AI tools for legal services.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain litigation holds and coordinate with IT on data preservation.
  • Maintain comprehensive litigation files and case management systems.
  • Ensure compliance with court rules and internal policies.
  • Prepare regulatory filings and responses to government inquiries.
  • Support investigations, employment disputes and settlement administration.
  • Manage litigation calendars and filings across jurisdictions.
  • Coordinate discovery processes and e-discovery platforms.
  • Review subpoenas and prepare responsive information.
  • Prepare witness files, exhibit binders, and dispute materials.
  • Draft pleadings and discovery requests under attorney supervision.
  • Conduct legal research and analyze contracts and policies.
  • Prepare case summaries and status reports for leadership.
  • Liaise with external litigation counsel and risk management.
  • Review legal invoices and assist with budgeting and reporting.
  • Coordinate expert retention and ADR/mediation logistics.
  • Manage relationships with litigation vendors.
  • Review lease correspondence and coordinate with lead attorney.
  • Proficiency with DocuSign envelopes and signoffs.
  • Understand real estate law and transactions; grow the skillset.
  • Manage electronic lease repository and real estate records.

Job Description

Vuori is seeking an experiencedLitigation Paralegalto join our dynamic in-house legal team. This role will provide critical support for all litigation matters affecting our premium performance apparel business, working directly with our CLO, Senior Counsel and outside counsel to manage complex commercial disputes, employment matters, intellectual property litigation, regulatoryproceedingsand insurance claims management.This is a new role with thecompany,and the selected candidate will have the opportunity to help shape the company’sapproach to managing all aspects of litigation.

Whatyou'llget to do:

Compliance & Documentation

  • Maintainlitigation holds and coordinate with IT on data preservation
  • Maintain comprehensive litigation files and case management systemsandensure records retention compliance for litigation-related documents
  • Ensure compliance with court rules, local procedures, and internal policies
  • Prepare regulatory filings and responses to government inquiries
  • Support internalinvestigations,employment-related disputes, and settlement administration including documentation and payment coordination

Case Management & Discovery

  • Manage litigation calendars, deadlines, and court filings across multiplejurisdictions
  • Coordinate and oversee document discovery processes, including e-discovery platforms
  • Review and respond to subpoena requests, including preparation of responsive information and documents and coordination with interested parties
  • Prepare witness files, exhibit binders, and dispute resolution materials
  • Draft routine pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence under attorney supervision

Legal Research & Analysis

  • Conduct factual and legal research using applicable legal databases
  • Analyze contracts, policies, and business records relevant to pending litigation
  • Prepare case summaries and status reports for executive leadership
  • Serve as primary liaison with external litigationcounsel,
  • Support risk management team withclaims submissions and tracking and coordination withinsurancebrokersand adjustors
  • Review and process legal invoices for accuracy and compliance with billing guidelinesandassistwith litigation budget tracking and matter-level reporting
  • Coordinate expert witnessretention, case preparation, and ADR/mediationlogisticsincluding schedulinganddocumentpreparation
  • Manage relationships withotherlitigation vendors
  • Reviewlease correspondence (including notices) that comestothe Legal Department andcoordinate with lead attorney on prioritization and next steps
  • ProficiencywithDocuSignin creating complicated envelopes that include reviewers and signoffs
  • Foundational understanding of real estatelaw and transactionsand willingness to growskillset
  • Manageand update the electronic lease repository and real estate records, including document organization, version control, and file integrity
  • Developproficiencyin negotiating ancillary lease-related contracts and preparing detailed lease abstracts, with training and mentorship provided
Qualifications

Who you are:

  • Paralegal certificate from ABA-approved program or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years litigation paralegal experience, preferably in corporate environment
  • Notary license preferred
  • Proficiencyin e-discovery platforms (Relativity, Concordance), case management software,Adobe,and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint,Teams, and SharePoint
  • Strong understanding of federal and state court procedures, discovery rules, and litigation timelines
  • Experience with retail, consumer products, or apparel industry litigation
  • Background in employment law, intellectual property,and/or commercial disputes
  • Project management certification or experience
  • Excited by the idea of innovating and driving efficiency in the delivery of legal services using AI legal tools
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Effective communicator with strong writing and drafting skills
  • Excellent analytical capabilities, organizational skills, and dedication to details
  • Ability to work effectively across all levels of the company, including senior officers, on a regular basis
  • Fast learner and self-starter withdemonstratedability to work independently and collaboratively

The salary range for this role is $117,000 per year - $140,000 per year. This role isbonuseligible.
