Responsibilities

• Meet with clients in-person and by phone, ensuring clear communication and high-quality service.
• Draft and file complaints, discovery requests, motions, and other documents; manage electronic court filings.
• Gather, review and update medical records, bills and related documents from providers and third-party sites.
• Prepare cases: organize medical bills, police reports, death certificates, EMS reports, etc.
• Coordinate mediation, depositions, hearings and related proceedings; ensure documents are ready.

As one of the leading Plaintiff's injury law firms in South Florida, we specialize in motor vehicle negligence, wrongful death, and premises liability cases. We’re seeking an experienced, motivated, and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our team and make an immediate impact.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Client Interaction: Meet with clients both in-person and over the phone, ensuring clear communication and providing a high level of customer care.
• Legal Documentation: Handle electronic filing with the Court, draft and file complaints, discovery requests, motions, and other legal documents.
• Medical Record Management: Regularly gather, review, and update medical records, bills, and other relevant documents from medical providers and third-party processing sites.
• Case Preparation: Manage all aspects of case prep, including creating detailed Excel itemizations of medical bills and gathering vital case information (police reports, death certificates, EMS reports, etc.).
• Scheduling: Coordinate mediation, depositions, hearings, and related legal proceedings while ensuring all documents are prepared for successful outcomes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with our legal team to ensure smooth case progression and support on litigation tasks.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in litigation within the Personal Injury space.
• Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, FileVine, Dropbox, and Adobe. Familiarity with legal tech tools is a plus!
• Drive: Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
