Job summary

Leeds Professional Resources is assisting a downtown Miami boutique law firm in finding a Litigation Paralegal / Legal Assistant with Personal Injury experience to join a fast-moving team.

You will own PI cases from intake to resolution, draft and organize documents, manage calendars, coordinate with clients and insurers, and support attorneys through pre-litigation and litigation phases.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal in Personal Injury
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Professional communication with clients and stakeholders
• Proficiency with legal case management software and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of personal injury cases from intake through resolution
• Partner closely with attorneys to move cases forward efficiently
• Draft, review, and organize legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence
• Manage case files, calendars, and deadlines
• Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and opposing counsel
• Request, track, and organize medical records and billing documentation
• Assist with settlement packages and support through pre-litigation and litigation phases
