CVS Health is seeking a Legal Assistant to join the Litigation Team in a full-time capacity. The role requires professionalism, strong organizational skills, and confidentiality while assisting with paralegal tasks for the Healthcare Business.

You will handle intake, subpoenas, discovery, reporting, and project work under limited supervision. The position emphasizes collaboration with in-house attorneys, adherence to state laws, and secure handling of sensitive information.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of legal support experience with subpoena processing and small claims litigation
• 2+ years of research experience

Responsibilities

• Maintain the litigation matter intake process, including opening and closing matters in the Legal Tracker billing system and coordinating workflow.
• Independently manage subpoenas and requests for records from state/government agencies and other requestors.
• Support in-house attorneys on NSA-related cases and other administrative proceedings.
• Coordinate discovery by issuing legal holds, managing document/data collections, tracking deadlines and deliverables.
• Provide administrative support including travel arrangements, expense reimbursements, and check requests for settlements.
• Prepare and distribute litigation matter reports for case management.
• Lead or contribute to special legal projects as needed.
