Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Legal Assistant to join the Litigation Team. You will perform paralegal and administrative tasks for healthcare-related matters, requiring professionalism, organization, and confidentiality.

The role involves managing subpoenas, discovery, and coordination with internal counsel and external partners. A paralegal certificate or equivalent experience is preferred, with 2+ years in legal support and research.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of legal support experience with subpoena processing and small claims litigation.
• 2+ years of research experience.
• Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Maintain litigation matter intake and tracking in the Legal Tracker system.
• Manage third-party subpoenas and records requests per state laws.
• Support in-house attorneys on NSA-related and other proceedings.
• Coordinate discovery, holds, data collections, and deadlines with stakeholders.
• Provide administrative support, travel arrangements, and expense processing.
• Prepare and distribute litigation reports for case management.
• Lead or contribute to special legal projects as needed.
