Cruser Mitchell is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant for our Miami office. This full‑time, in‑office position supports complex litigation matters within a collaborative team environment.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of litigation experience, proficiency with state and federal e‑filing, and strong organizational and proofreading skills. Responsibilities include managing case files, coordinating meetings, and communicating with clients and court personnel.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and briefs.
• Organize and maintain case files and legal documents.
• Coordinate and schedule meetings, hearings, and depositions.
• Assist with invoices and billing.
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, and court personnel.
• Draft correspondence and communicate case updates to clients.
• File documents electronically with courts and agencies.
• Ensure accuracy of legal documents through thorough proofreading.

Cruser Mitchell, a nationally recognized litigation defense firm, is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join our expanding Miami office. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled legal professional with at least two years of litigation experience who is looking to take an active, hands-on role supporting complex cases within a collaborative and high-performing team. In this role, you will contribute directly to case strategy and execution while working in a professional environment that values precision, initiative, and teamwork.

What We're Looking For

• At least 2 years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense
• Experience with e-filing at the state and federal level (court-filing computer systems)
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Self-motivated professional with a proactive, team-oriented mindset
• Full-time, in-office position (40 hours per week)

Duties & Responsibilities:
