Job summary

Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP in Nashville, TN seeks a senior Litigation Knowledge & Innovation Lawyer embedded with the AI & Knowledge Department to make the practice know-how usable for lawyers and AI. You will build structured matter profiles, guide AI-enabled workflows, and develop practical know-how to support litigation teams, dashboards, and reporting for practice leadership.

This role requires a JD, 8+ years of hands-on litigation experience, and the ability to drive

Qualifications

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and active admission to at least one U.S. state bar in good standing.
8+ years of hands-on litigation experience at a large law firm or comparable practice, at partner, counsel, or senior-associate level.
Strong understanding of litigation workflows including early case assessment, research, and drafting.
Hands-on use of generative AI in litigation work and a clear view of its limits; able to show workflows or evaluations you have built.

Responsibilities

Curate, develop, and maintain knowledge management assets.
Oversee capture and organization of matter profile information for reporting and insights.
Monitor usage and address gaps in knowledge-sharing processes.
Design, build, test, and evaluate new AI-enabled litigation workflows and use cases.
Translate practice needs into clear requirements for technical teams.
