Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman seeks a senior Litigation Knowledge & Innovation Lawyer embedded in the AI & Knowledge Department to transform practice know-how into actionable matter profiles and AI-enabled workflows. You will curate resources, map workflows, and drive adoption of innovative tools across the litigation Global Business Unit.

Qualifications

8+ years of hands-on litigation experience at a large law firm or comparable practice.
Strong understanding of litigation workflows including early case assessment, research, and drafting.
Hands-on use of generative AI in litigation work and a clear view of its limits; able to show workflows or evaluations you have built.
Ability to earn the trust of partners and associates and lead cross-functional work to completion.

Responsibilities

Knowledge Management: curate and maintain knowledge assets like precedents, playbooks, and matter insights; monitor usage and identify gaps for improvement.
Process Design: map workflows with lawyers to identify challenges and implement AI-enabled improvements; work with Data Science & AI Engineering to test and roll out changes.
Support Adoption & Training: support AI tools adoption, provide guidance, and deliver practical training on AI workflows and resources.
Build Trust into Delivery: develop test sets for core litigation tasks and maintain guidance on AI use in court filings and client guidelines.
