Job summary

Snell & Wilmer’s Reno-Tahoe office seeks an associate with at least five years of experience to join our dynamic litigation team, help advise clients, and grow client relationships across matters in our practice group.

The ideal candidate will draft and argue motions, assist in complex litigation, and manage all stages of discovery and motion practice, while delivering excellent oral and written advocacy and performing substantial legal research.

Job description

Snell & Wilmer’s Litigation, Investigations, and Trials practice group seeks to hire an associate with at least five years of experience to join our dynamic litigation team, help advise our clients, and grow client relationships in our Reno-Tahoe office. The ideal candidate will have experience in drafting and arguing motions and assisting in complex litigation matters, including all stages of discovery and motion practice. Excellent oral and written advocacy skills, with significant legal research experience are necessary. Prior judicial clerkship experience is a plus. Participating in our local community is part of our credo and is expected of our team members. Nevada bar license is required.

This is a full-time, partnership-track position that is eligible to participate in the firm’s benefit plans, including our 401K Profit Sharing and Savings Plan with discretionary employer contribution, and is eligible for consideration for annual discretionary bonuses.

Our expected salary range for candidates placed in Nevada is $233,000 – $283,000, depending on experience.
