Job summary

SBSB Law PLLC in Houston seeks a Litigation Defense Associate Attorney to handle a diverse civil defense caseload and participate in all phases of litigation.

You'll work directly with clients, experts, and opposing counsel, taking ownership of cases, handling depositions, motions, and trial preparation, and developing litigation strategy with experienced attorneys.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active Texas Bar license in good standing.
• Approximately 2–6 years of civil litigation experience.
• Defense litigation experience strongly preferred.
• Deposition and substantive motion practice experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to independently manage deadlines and competing priorities.
• First- or second-chair trial experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Litigation Defense Associate Attorney to join our Houston office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants meaningful case responsibility, direct client interaction, and the opportunity to continue developing as a litigator.
