SBSB Law PLLC in Corpus Christi, Texas, seeks a Litigation Defense Associate Attorney to manage diverse civil defense matters, including construction defects and personal injury. You will handle discovery, depositions, and motions, while developing case strategy and taking ownership of your cases.

Ideal candidates have a JD, active TX bar, and 2–6 years of civil litigation experience, with strong research and writing skills and the ability to manage deadlines.

Formación

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active Texas Bar license in good standing.
• Approximately 2–6 years of civil litigation experience.
• Defense litigation experience strongly preferred.
• Deposition and substantive motion practice experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to independently manage deadlines and competing priorities.
• First- or second-chair trial experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Handle a diverse caseload involving construction defect, personal injury, and other civil defense matters.
• Manage cases through all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation.
• Take and defend fact and expert witness depositions.
• Draft and argue substantive motions.
• Prepare case evaluations and develop litigation strategy.
• Communicate directly with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and other parties.
• Work closely with experienced trial attorneys while taking meaningful ownership of your cases.
