Job summary

DLA Piper seeks a Litigation Attorney (non-partnership track) to join its Miami office. This Florida-admitted lawyer will handle state and federal litigation matters, including pleadings, depositions, and discovery management.

Minimum 4 years’ experience is required; healthcare/ERISA exposure is a plus. Strong written and oral skills, reliability, and the ability to work with partners and clients are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of litigation experience in state and federal courts.
• Experience drafting pleadings and briefs, taking/defending depositions, and discovery management.
• Healthcare and/or ERISA experience is desirable.
• Florida admission to the bar is required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with partners, clients, staff, and third parties.
• Produce deliverables, respond to inquiries, and meet deadlines.
• Analyze complex legal issues and apply research to facts.
• Provide timely, accurate, and well-reasoned work product.
• Be available to deliver services during business hours, evenings, and weekends.
