Lydecker LLP in Miami seeks an associate attorney with 0-3+ years of civil defense litigation experience. The role is hybrid and located in our Miami office, requiring FL admission. Under a partner’s supervision, you will handle defenses in premises liability, personal injury, and general liability cases.

Qualifications

• FL bar license in good standing required.
• JD from ABA-approved law school.
• 0-3+ years civil defense litigation experience.
• Experience handling up to 15+ cases simultaneously; depositions, court appearances, and discovery.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Must be willing and able to bill.
• Draft/review and respond to petitions/ complaints, motions, and written discovery.
• Attend hearings and meetings with clients when requested.
• Prepare for and attend depositions.
• Assist with preparation for mediations and trials.
